It's 9AM and its already an eerie morning.

For the last few weeks I've been working on lyrics for a new song called "Feel of the Skin." A fragment of one of the lines in the first verse is "the oceans are dying."

And now this story has recently appeared in a few places. There has been a sudden massive dieoff of coral reef in several locations around the globe. Coral is to oceans what forests and grasslands are to land. Centers of life and essential links in the food chain. Crap, I don't know how to say it poetically. IT'S DYING and we're to blame -- climate change is the culprit.

Please please stop flying. Turn off the lights. Use your bike. Eat local food instead of processed shite shipped across the globe. It may already be too late in terms of actually impacting climate change but it WILL have an impact on every one around you.

The more people who SIGNIFICANTLY alter their lifestyles, the greater cascading influence it will have on shaking off the mental torpor that has so thoroughly clouded the western mind. So that maybe we'll have a chance to survive the disasters looming on tomorrow's horizon.
